PT-141 from Paradigm Peptides, also known as Bremelanotide, comes in 10 mg vial. It is a freeze dried powder meant for use in research and studies. The PT 141 peptide was first discovered during clinical trials for sunless tanning using MT 2 (Melanotan 2), but when many participants reported aphrodisiac reactions, they began research in another direction.

In the beginning, PT-141 was actually being researched as a potential for sunless tanning. In actuality, two other peptides were formed prior to the PT 141 peptide for that exact purpose, those two being Melanotan I and II. While Melanotan II went on to be the tanning agent that was being sought after, it also had a different ability. It was able to aid in sexual dysfunction and thus Bremelanotide was created.
Whether you know it as PT 141 or by its other names Bremelanotide or Vyleesi, once you experience its ability to increase sexual function you won’t want to use anything else. Unlike many other compounds on the market, like Cialis or Viagra, it is a peptide. For those of you that don’t know, peptides are created naturally within the body and therefore their synthetic variations tend to play nice with fewer side effects. In terms of this particular PT 141 peptide, it is a circular sequence of seven amino acids with something referred to as an amide group as part of the sequence.
It is a non-selective agonist of melanocortin receptors, more specifically receptors MC1 through MC5. The only receptor not affected by PT-141 is the MC2 receptor. What does this mean for your sex life? While the other receptors handle things like skin pigmentation (MC1) or homeostasis (MC3), MC4 is in charge of your sexual behaviors.
You’re probably asking yourself if PT 141 peptide is right for you. In reality, you should be asking yourself three questions. Those three being, can I successfully achieve an erection on my own, do I have problems finishing (i.e. ejaculating), and am I physically able to maintain an erection for a longer length of time. If you’ve answered any of these questions is no, then yes PT-141 is right for you.
PT-141 is a proven treatment for men experiencing erectile dysfunction as well as things like premature ejaculation. With longer-lasting erections of up to six hours, you can go to bed confident.
For women, sexual dysfunction can rear its head in a different way. This way is through something known as Female Sexual Arousal Disorder (FSAD) or Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder (HSDD). As a woman, you can have one or both of these disorders at the same time. But you’re not alone and PT-141 can help you beat these disorders and get back to your sex life.
In a clinical study, 293 women experiencing either one or both of the disorders were treated using Bremelanotide. The premenopausal women were part of four different groups with each group receiving a slightly different dose. Of the four groups, the women receiving 1.25mg to 1.75mg of PT-141 saw the greatest increase in statistical and clinical improvements. Therefore, women who are experiencing HSDD or FSAD can be treated using PT 141 peptide.

When taking PT 141 peptide, some side effects do exist. The most common side effect of taking PT 141 peptide is nausea. If you experience nausea you can take an anti-nausea medication prior to administering the peptide as a way to prevent or alleviate it. Some of the other lesser common side effects include flushing, headache, vomiting, fatigue, hot flashes, dizziness, or coughing.
Another side effect that may occur with the use of Bremelanotide is the occurrence of hyperpigmentation. This is the darkening of the skin primarily seen in the gums, face, and breasts.
Those that experience high blood pressure or cardiovascular disease may not want to use PT-141 as it has affected blood pressure in some of its users. If you take Naltrexone, ReVia, Vivitrol, or Indomethacin, do not take the PT-141 peptide as some reactions have occurred. It has been proven to lower the oral absorption of some other medications as well.
When using PT 141, it is important to note that you’ll only need eight doses per month. You’ll also want to avoid dosing within twenty-four hours of each dose. That being said, the most common dose of effectiveness is 1.75mg. Therefore, if you reconstitute your 10mg vial with 1mL of bacteriostatic water, you’ll want to pull up to the ninth tick mark on your insulin syringe. This will effectively give you the correct PT 141 dosage.
Once injected, the body will metabolize the peptide through a process known as hydrolysis. During this process, the bonds of the peptides are broken down with the help of water. One important thing to mention is that you do not want to inject PT-141 like a flu shot. In fact, you want to inject it subcutaneously into the thigh or abdomen. This is done by pinching the skin and injecting it into the fatty tissue.
