The Super-Human Healing Peptide TB-500

The Super-Human Healing Peptide TB-500

You’re running your normal five miles one Fall morning when you start to feel it. You can’t tell for sure because of the brisk cool air but something in your knee doesn’t feel right. You get home and after a hot shower and a bit of relaxing you look down to see your knee swollen and a fair amount of pain starts to radiate through it. What can you do to alleviate your acute pain and reduce the inflammation around your knee? One of the best options is to use TB-500. Learn all about TB-500 and its many benefits in the preceding article.

What is TB-500?

TB-500 is a synthetic version of a region that is active in Thymosin Beta 4 and occurs naturally in the body. It is commonly known to promote quicker healing of wounds. Thymosin Beta 4 is essentially the parent peptide of TB-500. Thymosin Beta 4 is a peptide that consists of forty-three amino acids and has a molecular weight of 4,921 g/mol. Both Thymosin Beta 4 and TB-500 do the same thing. However, because of Thymosin Beta 4’s size, it is not commonly or easily produced. This makes TB-500 the better option because of the ease of manufacturing it.

How TB-500 Works

TB-500 works by building new blood vessels and muscle tissue fiber while assisting in new cell migration and blood cell reproduction. It works based on its ability to upregulate cell building proteins such as actin. Actin is a protein that forms, in conjunction with myosin, the contractile filaments of muscle cells. It is what allows for a faster healing time and cell growth, migration, and proliferation. Once injected, it finds the wounded area and goes to work mending the damaged tissue.

The cool thing about this peptide is that it stacks well with another common peptide BPC 157. Both peptides are naturally occurring in the body, with BPC 157 occurring in the stomach and intestines. The job of BPC 157 is to heal the intestinal track and stomach lining. Much like TB-500 it can aid in the healing of wounds in other areas of the body and when stacked has the benefit of little to no scarring.

Benefits of TB-500

This synthetic peptide has a long list of benefits and no known side effects which makes it the ideal peptide for those seeking muscle gain and a quick healing time. TB-500 has been noted to help in the healing of tendons, ligaments, muscle, skin, heart, and even eye injuries. Those who have used TB-500 after a heart attack have been shown to have a quicker recovery rate.

Not only does it help with these areas, it also helps to increase strength through muscle growth. Quicker healing time due to TB-500 has also shown to improve endurance, reduce acute and chronic pain, spasms, and inflammation, protect and restore neurons after brain injury and can even help with hair regrowth and increase flexibility.

Need to Know Information on Dosage and Reconstitution of TB-500

When it comes to reconstituting this amazing peptide, you should know the ins and outs. For example, do you know what temperature your TB-500 should be stored at? No. Well once you’re through reading this section you will know all you need to know about the dos and don’ts of reconstitution.

For starters, both your powder form and reconstituted TB-500 should be stored between thirty-six- and forty-six-degrees Fahrenheit.

If you maintain this temperature in storing your vial of un-constituted TB-500 it should last you up to twenty-four months. If for some reason you cannot store it at this temperature and must store it at room temperature, which is somewhere right around ninety-eight degrees Fahrenheit, your TB-500 will still be good. However, it will only be good for around ninety days as opposed to twenty-four months. If you end up storing it in a temperature over one hundred- and thirteen-degrees Fahrenheit it would only be good for about a week. Once reconstituted, it should be used within eight days when correctly stored between thirty-six- and forty-six-degrees Fahrenheit. Never at any point do you want to freeze the peptide.

Next on the list of importance is the kind of liquid you use to reconstitute your TB-500 and how to do it correctly. When it comes to the reconstitution of your TB-500 you want to use either plain sterile water, sterile saline, or sterile bacteriostatic water. The process of reconstitution is quite easy. Using an insulin type syringe is recommended in the reconstitution of TB-500.

To reconstitute your TB-500, it is recommended to pull one milliliter of water into the syringe and inject it into your un-constituted TB-500. Keep in mind that you do not want to just force the liquid into the vial as that can completely render it useless. Instead of forcing the liquid into the vial you should slowly inject the liquid letting it slide down the side of the vial.

As for the dosage, that purely depends on the severity of the injury or what you are treating. Most of the time the dosage for the first six weeks of use is between four and eight milligrams and depends on a person’s body weight and there is a formula to help calculate the correct dosage for human use based on animal dosage. Keep in mind that if you would like to make the peptide last a bit longer you can pull the correct dosage of the reconstituted peptide into a syringe and freeze them for later use. When ready to use you just simply take it out of the freezer and let it thaw.

The formula is HED (mg/kg) = Animal dose (mg/kg) times (Animal Km divided by Human Km) For example, a person that weighs 200lbs would end up taking a dosage of 7.66mg. After the initial six-week period, it is common that instead of taking a dosage every week, it becomes every other week and lowers to between two and six milligrams per dose.

So, should you take the 7.66 mg in 1 dose a week or break it up into several shots? I weigh 220 and am nursing a rotater cuff injury. Not sure how much to take.

TB peptide was given in clinical trials at 2-2.5mg twice a week for 4-6 weeks then lowered to a maintenance dose of 2mg once a week.

I am unaware of any studies preformed on the use of this peptide for erectile dysfunction.
You may want to look into the peptide PT-141. It had many clinical trials regarding ED.

Im confused as to whether or not I can freeze the peptide. At one point in this article is says that at no point do I want to freeze it but in another part it says I can freeze the reconstituted peptide for future use and then let it thaw…

We recommend storing the peptide in the freezer prior to reconstitution or mixing. After reconstitution ideally you would use the mixed peptide within a month and store in the refrigerator. It is possible to freeze certain peptides after mixed without damage to the peptide. In this instance TB500 would be okay to freeze and thaw before use. I would not recommend multiple freeze thaw cycles as this may lessen the potency. It is common in some instances of preloading syringes and freezing them and thawing to use as needed. Please note that this should not be done with hydrophobic peptides such as FRAG 176-191 as this will damage the peptide and it will loose potency. Hope this helps
